It's normally ringers from CBO who ring Shag on the Maidens. I went along in 2013 - see blog post....<br /><br />http://bhgullsni.blogspot.co.uk/2013/07/shagging-on-maidens.html<br /><br />I did some research into colour-ringing as Skernoghan Point at the top of Islandmagee normally has a good number of metal ringed birds roosting. Unfortunately the people who are supposed to be in charge of co-ordinating Shag colour-ringing in Europe were very difficult to get hold of. It drifted off the radar and nothing ever happened. As you can see though, there haven't been any trips out since.
